The map supply chainfor the physical world
WaveForm, by Polaris EcoSystems, turns multi-scale capture — satellite, drone, and mobile LiDAR — into a single georeferenced timeline, then delivers it to autonomous robots through a cryptographically signed registry.
Why we exist
The physical world changes constantly, but the systems that depend on accurate maps — inspection teams, asset managers, and increasingly autonomous robots — still rely on data that’s stale the moment it’s captured. The cost of keeping a map current scales with its precision, so most organizations settle for measuring rarely and reacting late.
We built WaveForm around a simple idea: cascade the sensors. Use the cheapest, broadest sensor to watch everything, and escalate to precise capture only where reality has changed. That makes continuous, metrology-grade monitoring affordable — and produces output a robot can actually trust to drive on.
The result is infrastructure intelligence that spans from orbit to ground truth, with a delivery layer engineered for systems that can’t afford to be wrong.
What we value
Provable correctness
Signed artifacts, append-only audit, verifiable provenance. If a robot trusts it, you can prove where it came from.
Field-first
Built by people who’ve stood on muddy sites with a phone. The tools work offline, in the rain, on a deadline.
Boring infrastructure
The exciting part is what customers build on top. Our job is to be the dependable layer underneath.
